John is Here

Hey guys! I'm John, y'know, the guy from TechBlogwithJohn. From now on, from time to time I am going to be posting on Reports about Sports. Hope you like my posts. I not sure how many times a week I'm going to be posting (hopefully around 2), but I'll work the kinks out and be providing you guys with up to date news on the most popular sports. So my post for today: Derek Jeter won a gold glove. What? I mean, nothing to take away from the fact that he is an amazing shortstop and always has been, but even the most partisan of Yankee fans admit that this year was not his best, actually closer to one of his worst. He was one of the three Yankees to receive golden gloves, the other two being Robinson Canoe and Mark Teixera. Honestly, I don't believe that this was a year that he deserved a glove. He just doesn't get to that many balls. In stats, Jeter is one of the best shortstops in the MLB, but the problem is that he gets to fewer balls than most people. If a ball is going straight at him, it is a guaranteed out, and the stats back that up. On the other hand, any ball hit to the left or right of Jeter  has a pretty high chance of being a hit. Jeter doesn't move that far to the sides in order to catch the balls. So, what do you think about Derek's golden glove award? Do you think that he deserved it, or the award should have been someone else's? Leave a comment below! Please follow me on Twitter: http://goo.gl/p5Nu. Also, be sure to bookmark and share!
