Black Ops Ad: Kobe Bryant Trouble

If you haven't seen the new Call of Duty: Black Ops ad yet, it is more controversial than it is interesting. The ESPN article titled: Does Kobe Cross Line in New Ad? (link below) This is absolutely ridiculous. The video, which will be at the bottom of this post, shows a bunch of people (famous or not). These people are not your normal american soldiers, they are dressed like regular looking people. Secretaries, business men, and basketball star Kobe Bryant (among others) are featured in the video. ESPN believes that this is a bad idea. The whole purpose of this ad is to persuade people to buy this game, telling you "everybody has a soldier inside of them." Why is this a bad idea? OK, he is shooting a gun, but why is that such a problem. This is a war game. I really don't believe that this should cause a problem for anyone, especially Bryant. He does not deserve any scrutiny from the press and the public for this. What do you think about this whole thing? Does Kobe deserve this attention? Tell me in the comments!
